The Bachelor Brads Season Premiere
First off props to ABC. Man they do it big! I miss the house, dates and friends from the show…….and mostly Chris Harrison 
….buuut mostly mostly Jesse Kovacs my buddy! The dates this year look AMAZING!!!! From experience I can tell you they truly are once in a lifetime. Looks like he is going to have fun this season. Brings back so many good……..and bad memories. But mostly good.
I think that ABC did a great job of picking the girls this year. Most of them are beautiful and a lot that do seem ready and mature enough to settle down…. MOST of them. They also let a few “slip” through the cracks that are pretty much crazy …or have FANGS, because every show needs a hot blonde with fangs on it these days. Duh. If I were Brad and a girl got out of the limo and slapped me from the jump without even knowing me I would hope that she brought another pair of shoes because she is walking home. That’s just wrong on so many levels. However, I am sure ABC put her up to that.
I thought that the waving from the window and having Brad walk over to the limo was genius! I also think he made a great decision on the first impression rose. What a sweetheart and she seems to give the guy a break for a change.
As for Brad, I like the guy. I think he made a good decision on the last show by not picking either of them. I am a little skeptical as most are, but in my case it’s just because I know that ABC can make someone look great or sincere when really they are the complete opposite; i.e., Jake. They made that guy look good for two whole seasons right up until the end when it all came out and people got to see who he really was, so that’s the only thing that bothers me. Brad seems real though. I do think they need to get over talking about the sob story real quick because that is starting to sound repetitive.
Real quick. Chris Harrison cracks my ass up. The dude is such a pro. It’s so funny knowing him and how funny he is but how serious he seems on the show.
Anyway, back to Brad. Hearing about Brad’s background and his father explains a lot and unfortunately is not uncommon these days. This subject is exactly what I focus on in my book and why some of us guys are so reserved and cautious when it comes to getting close to women and fully committing, and end up hurting people instead of opening up like we should.
I do feel Brad is ready to make a commitment and is taking this seriously. I’m glad he made that very clear with fang thing girl. Good for him!
All in all I thought it was a great show and has a great cast and am pumped to watch it…Kinda lol.
Loved your analysis…and laughed through most of it, mostly because of your use of “fang thing girl.”
While the girls were meeting Brad, I told my friends that if one of them would just get over his previous experience and let him know that it didn’t matter…that the past is the past and what counts if from here on out…that she would get the first impression rose for sure! And what happened????
And don’t get me started on the slap-happy chick! In what world is that ok? That’s just rude…sure you’ll make an impression, but it’s still rude. Brad handled it like a gentleman but if I were him I would have told her to get back in the limo.

You should have been the next bachelor. Bard is very nice on the eyes but you are gorgeous!
It’s great to read your ‘insight’ as you know first hand what goes into this show. I’m sure though that you’re held to some type of bind with ABC on what can and cannot be disclosed.
However, he kept the ‘Slap Happy’ chick, Chantal, and ends up with her in the end!
p.s. The Browns are NOT laughable, try being a Vikings fan!
Great analysis, David and appreciated your input Wednesday. “The Man Code” parallels “The Bachelor” on a lot of levels this season and look forward to exploring it.

David, I just wanted to thank you for what your said about me in an interview, I believe it was posted on the examiner. I just wanted to say one or two things not for you but for anyone (woman) who might read this since so many more woman are becoming so easy today – How can any man respect any woman if she does not respect herself? Men are hunters. They love the thrill of the chase. Women today take the fun out of the chase by being to easy. We have become the chasers. Ladys Let them HUNT!! They will respect you for it.
