The Bachelorette Ashley H. Episode 9
The final 3 head to Fiji! This is one place that I really want to go myself. When I get married I think this is honeymoon material! Beautiful.
We start off with Ash and Ben, and a run through their little journey through the show. With his mellow mood and sincerity he has really grown on me. I like Constantine, but after watching this little bit I actually think I like Ben for Ash.
I really like Constantine and J.P. as individuals. Both good dudes, but just don’t see them a real good fit for Ash. This is just my opinion from what I have seen on show, so I always keep an open mind and YOU should too.
Up to this point I don’t think anyone has had a fantasy suite soooooooo, that could really change Ash’s opinion of a guy, if you know what I mean. If you are kind of slow and don’t… I’m talking about their sexual chemistry in the bedroom.
HOLY SANTA CLAUSE SHIT! Jake is back!!! Oh wait…Its Ryan P! Hmmmmm. Did I call this or what! I swear, if he say’s ‘Jesus sent me back’ I’m going to punch my roommate. He is sitting right here and has no idea he might just get knocked out of his chair because of some guy on TV. He will be super pissed.
Ryan P. The reason “you have got nowhere” in 31 years from what you said… well , I feel its a bit harsh. You seem like a pretty successful guy. Just kinda douchy. But that’s ok. You still had some dignity when you left. Lets see how this plays out.
It does not look like Ash is having it – at all!
Ben and Ash are the first to go on a date and they get to take out a sweet yacht. I like how he described their relationship as “effortless.” I agree. I hope all the people at home appreciate the fact these two are on a huge yacht snorkeling in Fiji. I mean ABC is super rad. This stuff is real. It’s not all filmed in a studio in L.A. Crazy cool.
Ben says he is going to say “I love you” to Ashley tonight. I can understand why this would be hard with 2 other guys there who like girls and Ryan P. in the bushes. I’m not sure Ash can return it sincerely though, with 2 other guys still there? Idk. He is so sincere in what he say’s I believe him. Ash pulls out the FANTASY SUITE CARD! Time for some ‘just the tip, just for a second, just to see how it feels’ or ‘ouch ouch your on my hair’. Good luck buddy!
Constantine “The Greek God” is up next. They start off with a beautiful helicopter ride over the water and beaches…and Ryan P standing in the corals alone. I wonder if she will go to his room at any point to see if they can rekindle a spark?
Ash and Constantine just aren’t clicking this time around. Shit is just awkward at dinner. She asked “is it weird for you and your friend (ben) to be dating the same girl?” Great question, wrong timing. They are really making me uncomfortable watching this and I just ate a large pizza hut meat lovers pizza – which is not helping anything. Shoulda maybe ate ½ …or even ¾. I’m sweating and now uncomfortable with what I’m watchng. …OH hell. Now Obama is going to talk!? I’m going to throw up. I’m not even going to start. Not even goinnnnngggg to start.
Constantine say’s “this is the end of the road for me.” Good man. I am glad that is over. I know a few thousand girls that might want to talk to you my friend.
Ashley does go back to see what’s up with Ryan P. I can see when she looks at him that she just does not like this guy. I feel bad for him because he just can’t seem to recognize this look and guys like this make things really awkward for a girl. Is he going to cry again? Yep! Does anyone really buy this?
J.P. is up next. This could be entertaining. They take a plane ride over the water. I’m not seeing that connection anymore from Ash. He say’s he “is ready for the end” and Ash’s response was “whooo.” Not a thing you want to hear on the other end. He really does fall super hard. He gets a Fantasy Suite Card as well.
The Rose Ceremony is pretty anti-climactic. She tells the other guys Mr. Constantine has gone home.
Next week we find out the winner!

Great recap Dave, as usual, and I totally agree with you that Ben seems best for Ashley. However, I am really thinking that next week she is going to pick JP. Hope I’m wrong, but its just a gut instinct thing. Can’t wait to see who she picks, but also can’t wait for the new season of Bachelor Pad to start! Should be quite entertaining with both Jake and Vienna in the same house lol…
I like Ben too although sources say he is seeing Britt. I was bummed that Obama interupted the show to flap his lips about nothing. Just giving us that hope but no change thus far except unemplyment at almost 10%.. Well there was change for him…He moved on up to the big house..maybe that is what he meant by change.So Dave I won’t get you started on that but feel free:-)
JP rubs me the wrong way. Is Ashley jewish? His mama will not like her baby boy hurt. Jewish mama’s are a bitch to deal with. If she marries him she will always be wrong..mama will make sure of that@@ Constantine IMO was never really attracted to Ashley. He had the friend card the whole time..JMO. JP wants to win and he is in lust with Ashley not love not yet! Just my two cents.
Dave…you crack me up!!! Always look forward to your words, we are usually on the same page. However, I wouldnt punch my roommate, maybe the next guy I see cry.

Enjoy your take and enjoy you on BBD also. I like both JP and Ben. So, either way it turns out is okay with me as long as they will stay together…we will see. I never saw any connection at all between Constantine and Ashley.

Its pretty lame because there has already been leaks on the net saying she picked j.p. and that he ends up dumping her after the show wraps cuz he’s a fame-whore. If it is true it annoys me because I like ben and watching him now and possibly knowing he will get dumped upsets me. If this is the case I hope Ben is the next bachelor since he is a good person and really sweet. Ryan is a flaming hot mess and annoys me.. I like Ames but his forehead is distracting lol and he is too shy to be the next bachelor. I like your feedback even though you post it late. By the way does your roommate rip on you for watching this show.?

I’m bitter that you haven’t posted your thoughts on the final episode.
In any event, I think Ryan P will be the next bachelor.
My takeaways from the final episode & the “after the final rose” show…
-Ashley’s sister was spot on…I bet JP’s insecurity is what she was picking up on
-if Ashley didn’t pick JP, he’d be ruined (and depressed)
-since Ashley didn’t pick Ben F, he’s probably ruined (and very bitter) and will never open up to a girl again
-she probably picked JP because her sister told her not to (just like Michelle Money told her not to fall for Bentley)
-she probably picked JP also because he lives in NYC and it’s easier logistically because she lives in Philly and her family is in Maine
-I’d bet $50 that Ryan P is the next bachelor (you heard it here first, folks!)
-was it just me or were Ashley & JP making out way too much on the reunion show?
