The Bachelorette Ashley H. Finale
Ashley starts out meeting and talking with her family and says she is in love! J.P. is first to meet the family.
The family seems to be ok with J.P., but her sister seems a bit put by him.
Ashley’s sister is one tough cookie! Wow. I love it. I see the same thing she does. She took the words right out of my mouth with what she said about J.P. I really like the guy and am not knocking HIM as a person, but I just don’t see it and I agree with her 100%.
He really is a little too serious for her. I have said this in my past blogs already. He is very controlling and over-protective and not going to be able to handle this relationship. I’m not sure, but I wonder if J.P. went back to his room and started hitting himself saying “No. No J.P…bad Christy…she wrong ! Ash and I will be together forever and I just know it. I’ll show her!” hahaha
Ash and Christy sit down to talk about J.P. She was a little harsh but I liked it. You’re talking about your sister getting married. ‘No need to sugar coat anything’ is right. Shit is getting real.
I feel for Ash, but her sister is right. You can call her sister a bitch but she is looking out for Ash and this is a big deal. I really think Ash only wants her approval and not her opinion. That is a hard pill to swallow for her, but time is really limited.
It’s Ben’s turn to meet the family. He always seems so cool and mellow but he is sweating pretty good in front of the family. LOL. Expectantly, I would be too. Ash just seems so much more herself and relaxed with Ben.
Christy’s turn with Ben!! Hahahaha.. I wish she were on the show the whole time. She is great. Christy said “she see’s Ashley being herself with Ben” and seems to like him more. I am so on Christy’s side and it’s refreshing to see someone with common sense that see’s through the bullshit that people seem to not be able to see on this show. It’s amazing to me, just like the people that want Ryan P. to be the next ‘Bachelor’. FYI…if you are one of the morons that want Ryan, you are one of the people I am talking about and should pick up one of the books he is reading to “find love” or read his diary. LOL.
Ben finally told Ash that he loves her! Whoooohoooo. But she did not say it back… Hmmmmm. I’m sure that is hard for her and is because there is still another guy in the picture.
Lets give it up for Ash’s turquoise “push up” bathing suit! That looks good!
J.P. and Ash sit down and he tells her he loves her. Nothing back and she kisses him on his cheeks on each side like 3 times? What?! That’s the kind of reaction I want when I tell a girl I love her. Kiss me like I’m your step dad. Sweet! He just set sail and is captain of the FAIL boat! Loss.
I really like the book and pictures J.P. made for her. That was cute.
Yellow bikini? Hmmmmmm… Lets get the turquoise back out.
I do have to say that Ben picked the ugliest ring of all of them all, but hey it’s still nice and his style. J.P. picked the better ring, for sure.
Now its show time!
Ben is first to go… Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… I thought she might have learned something with the whole Bentley thing, but clearly has a lot to learn. Should have listened to her sister. Did she even cry in front of him??? WTF. I’m telling you…
How about the plane flying over while Ben was in the boat going home….ouch.
J.P. is up next. I guess we all know what is about to happen now. The rest is romantic but has a bitter taste to it because I just don’t see it. I said it earlier and I still feel that way. I don’t think it will work. That is just my opinion, however, and this is just a TV show and I TRULY wish them the best of luck. Just because I feel that way does not mean dick. I would much rather two people be happy and me be wrong, than me be right and them be unhappy.

….oh and just because they are still together on ‘After the Rose’ means they have made it a few months…
Please don’t let ABC give us a wussy man crying, Jake-ish bachelor like Ryan…please. On behalf of all of the women in America, we need a Kovacs or a Good..will one of you be interested, please, to spare us having to have another crying emotional mess of a man, like Ryan. I have news for you…girls do not want to see another Jake! Help us out!
Your blog is very entertaining. Although I think JP and Ash will make it, I like your blunt style. I definitely do not want Ryan as the next bachelor. I’m hoping Graham Bunn gets the nod but realize they will probably choose someone from Ash’s season.
Not agreeing with you at all. I saw real passion between Ashley and JP. Didn’t see it with Ben. Sometimes opposites attract and are good for each other. Maybe Ashley’s high energy and immaturity needs a steady more mature person like JP. I like JP and also like Ben but that has nothing to do with it. It is Ashley’s choice and I sure hope it works out for them. Frankly, I am tired of the over production of this show and the way they “play” with the audience reactions through their editing. I am not watching Bachelor Pad and may not watch another Bachelor or Bachelorette because of the way this last one was presented. When Trista was on, it was much less produced and I enjoyed it more.
Boring….I wish Ben would have gotten a happy ending, maybe he will be the next bachelor! I hope so because he got the short end of the stick! I think Ashley and j.p. are too lovey dovey and it’s a bit much PDA. Seems like they are trying to prove something during the final rose. I am not rooting for them to fail but I don’t think it will last. Happy its over so we can enjoy the bachelor pad! Too bad your not on this time even though you won…you were still the sexiest guy by far!
Same thing here. I saw a lot more between Ben and Ash than with JP. She never should have let him propose! That’s basic human decency.

How can you call J.P. Controlling just by what you see on T.V.? from seeing recent tweets from JP and interviews they’ve had since Monday he seems like a very down to earth guy and always let’s Ashley talk first. If he was indeed controlling he’d be dominating all of the interviews and she’d be sitting by his side quietly. With you used to be on this show i’d expect you’d be the last person to say he’s controlling just because you know all about the editing,slicing and so forth that goes on this show
Sure there was some jealousy, what’s wrong with little bit of Jealousy?. It shows that you really do care for someone and i see nothing wrong with what J.P. was showing because his feelings became more real towards the end. I’m sure things simmered down once the show ended and the jealousy streak went away. That’s just my take on it.
I also honestly think they will probably be the only very rare couple that will make it work just because they both live on the east coast and are not living in L.A.. Just my opinion

I could not agree with you more. Chrystie is awesome, she hit the nail on the head. I want to shake Ashley and say, ‘WTF is wrong with you?!?’.. apparently she still has a lot of life lessons left to learn, namely figuring herself out and knowing what is good for her (like her sister can clearly see). JP just wants love, Ben really loved her. I personally don’t think she deserved Ben and am happy for him that her can now find a real woman who knows herself and can appreciate him. I vote Ben for next Bachelor. Just sayin. I do not think Ashley & JP have a chance in hell. Thanks for your blog. Good laughs.
….hmmmm…..i agree w lots, dave….but , i think, Ben was probably not the “best bet” for miss ash!….ash much as we all loved him….i felt as if this experience was more about him and his “dad” ….and him coming out of his “emotional coma”….than it ever was about Ashley!…..i do believe he has or had love for her….but, he was WAY more impressed with his own actions….and his mother’s actions….than he was with his “love” for ashley!…..i think he is ADORABLE and would love to see him as the next bachelor, if ryan p does not take the cake!……Ben is NOW “available”……and in my opinion….Ashley would have to get “back in line” (a LONG line) if she ever wanted a second chance!………as far a JP!…never my favorite…..but , i understand the “opposites attract ” phenomenom…..and i think she needs a “rock of stability”……and actually may thrive on his little jealous binges…..as she is still quite insecure!……(so this may be the perfect balance, in a perfect world!)……..i DO agree with this:…i’d love to see Ashley’s sister as the “Next Bachelorette”….(is she single!)……i love this chick and think she would bring an exciting element to the show, if they ever want to cast an unconventional bachelorette!……(i actually thought she kinda had the “HOTS” for Ben……and was a little jealous about their connection!?……so there!…….we’ll see!…….anyway, yes, yes, i am one of the freaks that think Ryan P would be a great “Bachelor!”……but, i would also like to see a BRAND new face, off the streets, that we never saw before!………..oh well……….we’ll see!……thanks for your update!………although we do not agree……i dig your “take” and love your humor! ……..xoxoox Pam
